At Hand Productions - About
We are leading the way in multimedia entertainment. Uniting audiences on avenues including television, radio, Internet, media, the stage, and as technology continues to revolutionize, we will maintain the leading edge on multimedia entertainment.
So the question needs to be asked, what is multimedia entertainment? And the best answer is through experience -- witnessing a production is the best way to understand what we do and what our productions are about. But for those that have not seen our productions and still are uncertain, this is the place to begin. The backbone to AHP is not who is in charge or how our productions are delivered, but our backbone is based around such multimedia productions as Prophecies of War, Aquarian Dreams, House of Pain, Values, My Journal, and other productions. It is these productions that give AHP its characteristic take on multimedia entertainment.
Multimedia, in the simplest forms it is the combination of more than one medium. But so what and who cares? And you are right, why should you care about this? The media that are used in our productions come last in the creative process. Firstly the theme is produced. We realize that there are production companies that like to create children's themes, abstractions, and then there are others that create productions just for the sake of making a buck. Our productions are thought provoking, timely, real, and relative.
Thought provocation or better yet mind bending, what is it? What if you know that southern radio stations banned Prophecies of War, because it challenged our godly president? What if you know that this same production dealt with timely events as war? What if you knew that our productions didn't rely on gimmicks or artists concerned with the latest wardrobe? What if you knew that our productions were relative to the world around you?
It is the development of a theme that is thought provoking, timely, real, relative and expressed through media. Walking through the venue doors, you are greeted with crowds of people waiting for the performance to begin. As the lush red curtain rises, you are introduced to projection screens that blast images on across the stage in rapid, distorted, bent, winding fashion. From floor-to-ceiling you watch images that help tell the story. But the video is not a lone. They have a partner in crime. Supporting the video is music. With high quality musicians that have been sought out from the underground world you are introduced to music that is new. It is not performed by musicians sporting the latest fad, but that are genuine. They are the dark sound poets that explore the crevices of the human heat and mind.
Start here - you will find video clips, mp3s, images, and information to help you get a better understanding. Listen to our productions on the radio. Watch them on the TV. See it live. If that is still not enough, check your local music store for more information about our productions.
Staying and getting in contact with AHP is easy. We can be contacted through the most Internet savvy ways to the most basic of sending a letter. Stay up to date and be in the lead with the latest news about AHP, our productions, and our artists.

BPS at BAR - Hip Hop
At first glance Brian Paul Sanders appears to look like a potential NBA bound point guard, but this NYC personal trainer has fans clamoring for something else than his killer biceps. The alternative R&B artist that goes by the name BPS (Beats Per Second) just rocked the house in South Beach, FL at Madiba Lounge and the ladies are dicing for his autograph.
The sonic backdrops of his production team fuses inspirations from rock, hip-hop, soul, and funk to release a sound that rocks the underground circuit. Looking to lyricism and charisma of artist like Stevie Wonder, Lauren Hill, Rakim, Marvin Gaye, Lionel Richie, Bill Withers as inspiration BPS is on a restless pursuit for matching the success of those he admires.
