It was not more than a year ago when we found a band called MonkeyGrinder embedded in the MusicTV Share site. The band has slowly gathered a following and we think it fitting to show off the new site here by placing them as one of the first we review.
MonkeyGrinder have made a unique sound through symbiotic mutations of classic, jazz and rock fusions. There is just no way to drop them direct into a category. Their melodic mélange of style and instrumentations combines with a contentious blending of concentric rhythms to form a music all their own. Adding to the panache is the prodigious use of the accordion as a lead instrument. The comment monkeys seem to love it when the accordion takes center stage to wail on the pearly squeezebox.
This is MonkeyGrinder "Welcome to Hell" and it is a great showcase!
We think this band can entertain and amuse the most jaded of souls and present their first appearance at MusicTV Share for you to enjoy. Watch for them at your local music venue and get to the show!
