Volodymyr Zelensky Destroys Glastonbury Music Festival
The music and art festival was moving along so well. Despite the UK rail strike making it difficult to attend, the fans came in and the music went on. The feeling of the festival was warm and cordial and the bands were great.
Well, right in the middle of it all, and just before our hero band of junkies from Kentishtown, The Libertines, came on the stage along with that face of horror begging support for war. It is bad enough that this idiot, Volodymyr Zelensky, comedian and president of the Ukraine pastes his face at every political event and war mongering government meeting, he finally pastes himself in the middle of a great music festival. As if his narcissism has any bounds.
There he was, like Big Brother, in his trademark green dirty tee shirt and unshaven paunch urging festival revelers to support Ukraine and their 8 year genocide in the east of that country. Art Interference by governments taken to new idiocy.
Who in that organization thought it was a good idea to bring politicians foisting horrid ideas to the people gathered for art, music and theater? They should lose their jobs! Why they never brought other war mongers to their stage to foist war messages to the gathered masses wanting art, music, and theater?
Since the coup that overthrew the elected governemnt in 2014 war has raged in the east of Ukraine. The division of the area into pro-EU and pro-Russia made it untenable for anyone. While the west of Ukraine took over and subjected its own in the east to constant shelling, bombing, and war the NATO powers did nothing but fan the flames. German, France, and Russia came to an agreement called “Minsk” and that would have saved the day. But nothing happened. The radical right wing militants held the government and war of genocide continued in the east right up to today. France and Germany did nothing to help implement of say anything about the Minsk. Zelensky was elected by a landslide on promise to bring peace and compromise to the east. He tried. He was met with a nightmare, his military was not his at all but tied to radical idealism. So, he just turned to the darkside and here we see this ugly mess during an arts festival. Bad on Glastonbury!
